Morgan is responsible for developing and implementing Read Investments’ strategic plan. He is also involved in sourcing, financing, and managing acquisition and development projects for Read Investments. He also oversees Read Management, the firm’s Management Company responsible for all aspects of its portfolio operations including capital improvement, marketing, and management services.
Prior to joining RI, Morgan was a Financial Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co in its Investment Management Division in San Francisco. Following Goldman, Morgan worked at California Trout helping the non-profit organization in a strategic planning effort to better achieve its coldwater fisheries conservation goals in California.
Morgan earned a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Chief Operating Officer
Scott is responsible for managing all facets of Read Investments' real estate portfolio to ensure competitive returns on investment. Scott also assists the Managing Partner with Acquisition and Development responsibilities. Scott has extensive experience in operating real estate, having started his career in facilities and property management, eventually working his way into development.
Scott earned a B.S. degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Scott had been certified as a Development Design & Construction Professional and Leasing Specialist by the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Chief Financial Officer
Amanda oversees all financial and accounting functions for Read Investments including development and property accounting, investment analysis, debt procurement, financial reporting and tax planning.
Prior to joining Read Investments, Amanda was the CFO of Elberon Development Group, a New Jersey owner and developer with 2 million sq. ft. of industrial real estate. Amanda also served for 11 years as CFO, and later Principal, of Ranger Properties (and its affiliate Valhal Corp) in New York City. Over the course of her 15 years in the real estate industry, she has played a key role in the development of industrial, residential and hospitality property valued in excess of $350 million.
Earlier in her career Amanda worked at AIG Global Real Estate and as a financial statement auditor at Deloitte LLP in Portland, Oregon.
Amanda is a Certified Public Accountant. She holds an M.S. in Real Estate Development with distinction from New York University, and a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Portland, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Bruce is responsible for managing all of the financial and operational aspects of the two founding partner's family office. He is also responsible for human resources, payroll, and IT functions for Read Investments.
Bruce formally joined Read Investments in 2000 after spending five years at Grocery Outlet, Inc. initially as Manager of Internal Audit and then as Accounting Manager. Prior to joining GOI, Bruce had over eight years of related experience in retail accounting and auditing with both accounting firms and retailers.
Bruce earned a BS in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Senior Property Manager
Kasara manages the properties owned by the various Read Investments entities. In this role she serves as the primary contact for portfolio tenants; managing lease documentation, administration, and the tenant improvement process.
Before joining Read Investments in 2007, she worked for Main Street Property Services, a full service commercial real estate firm based in Lafayette, CA.
Kasara earned a BA in Art from Saint Mary’s College of California, and has completed the certificate program for Interior Architecture and Design through UC Berkeley Extension. She is also a Licensed California Real Estate Agent and a certified S/C Manager (CSM).

Dawn manages the Read Building in addition to various properties owned by the Read Investments entities. She serves as the primary contact for portfolio tenants; managing lease documentation, administration, and the tenant improvement process.
After relocating to the Bay Area, Dawn joined Read Investments in 2016. Prior to joining Read Investments, Dawn worked as a Property Manager for Sunwest Real Estate Group in Dallas, Texas where she managed a diverse portfolio of industrial, flex, retail, and office buildings. Throughout her 15 years in property management she has worked in North Carolina, Arizona, Texas, and now California.
Dawn enlisted in the military in 1994 and trained at various military schools including the Defense Language Institute at the Presidio of Monterey, California where she earned her diploma for Spanish. She has held a Salesperson License in both North Carolina and Arizona.
Veena is responsible for managing the day-to-day general accounting operation, overseeing the entire accounts payable process and managing the year end closing process at Read Investments. In addition to performing property accounting functions, she works closely with the Director of Finance on the preparation of all Financial Statements, Budgeting and a variety of internal performance reports.
Prior to joining Read Investments in 2012, Veena was a staff accountant at Jakobson Properties, LLC, a multiple entities property management firm in New York, NY. Her prior experience working on both the Leasing and Management side of the industry has contributed to her success at the Senior Property Accountant by providing her with a well-rounded foundation and in-depth understanding of the business.
Veena earned an MBA in Finance from Lubin School of Business at Pace University.

Chantel is responsible for office management duties as well as assisting the accounting and property management departments with a variety of key functions. Chantel enters all recurring and non-recurring payables and ensures that vendor and tenant insurance stay up to date.
Prior to joining Read Investments in 2017, Chantel served in several Administrative Assistant roles where she was responsible for organizing and maintaining filing systems, creating cost estimates and reports. In addition, she organized schedules for project managers, covered the receptionist desk, and was responsible for all print room duties.
Chantel earned a BS in Business Management from San Francisco State University. During her spare time Chantel enjoys wine tasting and going to concerts and music festivals.
Lynn serves as Executive Assistant to Peter & Steven Read, handling all aspects of both the business and personal affairs of the founding brothers.
In the past, Lynn has worked in the events and planning office of the Royal College of Radiologists in London and, after moving to the US, served as assistant to the chairman and managing director of a top tier management consulting firm in New York City. After working at several medical facilities, Lynn studied medical transcription and worked for three preeminent ENT surgeons at a practice specializing in cochlear implant surgery, otolaryngology as well as head and neck cancer.
Lynn was born and raised in the south of England in West Sussex. She studied Applied Science and Animal Husbandry at Epsom Technical College, earning an H.N.C. She moved to the states 26 years ago and became a US citizen in 2005. After residing on the East Coast for 20 years, she and her family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area.
